Beginner and Intermediate
The beginner / intermediate programs are designed for children aged 8-13 with little or no fencing experience. The daily schedule will consist of fencing basics: stances, lunges and parries, rules, electrical scoring, bouting, and round-robin.
Each 5-day camp program is broken into two sessions per day. Campers may register for either the full day session or the half-day morning session.
The Advanced Summer Camp enrolls competitor level athletes. Training is focused on developing strength and speed as well as goal setting, mental and tactical preparation.
Coaches consist of world-class fencing masters and professional educators who are CORI and Safe Sport certified.
Facilities are air-conditioned and each include 15 electrical fencing strips.
Olympia Fencing Center has a second location in Newton Highlands. Note that Beginner camps are only offered at the Cambridge location.
