Detailed Information

The Nike Tennis Camp at MIT offers kids aged 6-18 serious tennis training, optional swimming, and lots of fun. Offering half day and full day options during June through August, the camp is designed for players at all levels. Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience. Indoor courts are available during days of inclement weather.

The All Skills program is designed for tennis players of any skill level and background. Campers will learn the fundamentals and improve upon their game. The 10 and Under program features USTA’s teaching format, smaller courts and low-compression balls to allow young kids a chance to develop optimal swing patterns and make it easy for them to hit, play and score.

Optional Programs

In addition to tennis training, campers may select recreational swimming. Kids aged 10-14 may also add the Fun with Science program, a science class covering natural and earth sciences, and environmental education. All materials and computers are supplied for use by campers.
