Credit: Power Kids Summer Enrichment Program
Detailed Information
Power Kids has been helping students in grades 1 – 6 support their peers and community since 2007. It’s different from other summer programs as lead counselors are experienced classroom teachers who teach positive social skills while the kids have summertime fun.
Weekly themes are centered around helping kids develop their power to succeed. Sample themes include cooperation, respect, responsibility, and citizenship. A typical day includes various activities such as swimming, sports, arts and crafts, community projects and a guest speaker seminar.
