Peabody Essex Museum offers weekday interactive programs for preschoolers and caregivers as well as art activities on the weekends. Many activities for the children are free.

  • Drop-In Art Making on the weekends explore scientific phenomenon and art making. Free with museum admission.
  • Story Trails offered monthly for children ages 5-8 with a caregiver
  • Gallery Experiences for all ages, offered on select Saturdays and Sundays explore exhibits through storytelling, art-making and game playing
  • Studio Discovers are designed for kids of all ages to explore art making and art materials

The Museum also offers programming for children and families during Massachusetts public school vacations in February and April.
