Hi, we're planning a sports themed party for our son and interested in renting a gym or similar type of venue where the kids can run and play some ball sports. Thanks for any recommendations!!
I assume you're looking in/near Newton. You could try the lower falls community center. They offer gym and classroom rentals. Good luck!
Newton Centre hut offers gym rentals during evening and weekends. Maybe the Hyde Community Center on Lincoln St? They have a gym.
Also I think the Emerson Community Center in upper falls has gym rentals.
The John Ryan arena in Watertown has rental options. It's not a court obviously but thought I'd mention it as they also offer kids parties and I know the facility can also be rented. Good luck, have fun!

I was browsing this site just as I was also looking at the Newton Rec list of winter programs which included a list of rec center rentals. :)
