Detailed Information
Focused solely on movie making since 2005, IncrediFlix designs summer programs for kids aged 7-11. Programs focus on creativity, cooperation, and fun. Campers will work in age appropriate groups and experience all of the steps of a Hollywood producer, from Action to That’s a Wrap!
Young filmmakers will learn basic film techniques such as green screen, stop-motion, editing, directing, writing, and more!
Programs
Campers can select from a variety of options within Stop-Motion Animation or Live Action Filmmaking:
- Animation Flix is a fast paced class for students to create up to 4 stop motion movies, including dinosaurs, paper cartoons, white board and a free choice
- Action Stop Motion Flix uses stop motion tricks as characters battle or work together to save the day from fires, explosions or floods
- Minecraft vs Roblox Flix is a mashup movie program full of games and challenges
- Claymation Flix uses green screen technology and clay characters, and campers will film, direct and develop voice-overs
- Live Action Flix takes campers through the Hollywood process to create, direct, film, act and more
- Action Movie Flix offers campers an opportunity to use green screen, camera tricks, and special effects to write, act, and direct a live-action movie
Schedule
Offered through the Lexington Community Center, the three hour programs are offered in both the morning and afternoon.
