Offering summer STEM leadership programs for girls aged 9-18 during July and August. The camp focuses on STEM, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership connected to STEM careers.
Sample sessions include Ingenuity, Pollution Solution, NASA Lab, and The Design Space.
- Ingenuity Projects is an entrepreneurial innovation program that helps girls learn how to transform ideas into action. Participants collaborate in challenges and activities to explore technology in IoT, wearables, and virtual reality, among other innovative technology. They engage in rapid prototyping and preparing a pitch.
- Pollution Solution offers girls a chance to be eco scientists. They will discover and explore eco challenges such as water use, waste, and pollution.
- NASA Lab participants are challenged to problem solve and use skills in design process, design thinking and D printer technologies. They will explore robotics in space, space exploration, aeronautics, and space engineering.
- The Design Space program encourages students to use the engineering design process in the world of wearable technology. Girls will combine CAD, electronics, and coding to create unique products.
Other sessions include STEM Entrepreneurship, VR/AR in STEM careers, Green Innovation, and Design for Good. At the end of each session, friends and family are invited to view final projects created by the campers.
