Detailed Information

For more than 20 years, FaySummer has offered dynamic, hands-on programs for campers in preschool (age 3+) through grade 9.

Day Camp

Fay offers eight one-week day camp sessions during June through August. Campers are grouped by grade and follow a weekly schedule that includes daily swim lessons, outdoor activities, sports and games, arts and crafts, and time on the outdoor adventure challenge course. Younger campers have a more structured scheduled while older campers have increased privileges and choice.

Specialty day camp programs include horseback riding, drone commanding, cooking, broadway performance, field trips, robotics, chess, animation, and tennis, among others.

Overnight Programs

FaySummer offers two two-week academic enrichment programs for rising 6th through 9th graders. Courses are offered in creative writing, humanities, science, math, and technology. Students enroll in two 60-80 minute courses that meet each weekday morning for hands-on learning labs. The rest of the day is spent in electives, which may include swimming, ropes courses, entrepreneurship, and other activities.

Overnight campers stay in double or triple rooms in a home-style setting with a common room and shared bathrooms. Teachers and counselors live in the dorms, providing 24-hour supervision. Transportation can be arranged for students to/from Fay School from Boston Logan airport and New York JFK airport.

Facilities

Located on Fay’s 66-acre campus, the facilities include two outdoor heated swimming pools, indoor and outdoor athletic facilities, an outdoor adventure challenge course, dining hall, and air-conditioned classrooms and indoor spaces.

Staff

The team is comprised of Fay’s faculty and staff, local teachers, professionals in their fields, and college students with experience working with children.

Lunch

Day campers have the option of purchasing a lunch daily for an additional fee, or bring a lunch from home. FaySummer is a nut free environment.
