The Skating Club of Boston Skating Academy, founded in 1912, is the 3rd oldest figure skating club in the U.S. and a premier ice skating school. The club offers top-quality instruction and small group ice skating lessons for children aged 4+ using the Learn to Skate USA curriculum endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating and USA Hockey.

The Club maintains a commitment to the sport of figure skating through its programs, coaches, staff and future plans for expansion in the Boston area. Skate rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are heated rink-side seating and onsite vending machines.

Instructors

The Skating Academy employs accomplished skating coaches who are accredited by U.S. Figure Skating. Coaches ensure children learn the best techniques for figure skating and hockey in a fun, supportive environment. Campus managers supervise class assignments and coaches to make sure every student gets the most of their lesson time. Teaching assistants are also employed to ensure more personalized attention for every child whenever needed.
