We have a leaky pipe in the basement. It's a slow drip and comes and goes. we placed a bucket underneath so it's not an emergency, but tightening the handle isn't working we probably need to replace that piece. Please recommend your plumber.

I like Baker-ELman. Great service and good communication. we used them in Somerville when our hot water heater broke on a very cold christmas eve they came out late at night and installed a new one. We moved to Newton a few years ago and still use Baker Elman.

We used Federal Plumbing and have been happy with the results. They did a bunch of different smaller jobs around the house - replace toilet, fixed leaky pipe in basement, etc., and also removed an closed off some older outdoor fixtures that hadn't worked in years.
