Music Together (Music and Movement of Newton) fosters enthusiasm for music and movement, and helps kids learn basic musical skills and prepare for instrument study. The program offers music and Spanish for children up to age 5 with an adult, and drumming for kids in grades kindergarten to 2nd. One-semester Music Together Babies Class is designed especially for families with infants under 9 months old. The Rhythm Kids class enables children to grow their musical skills by emphasizing social interaction with peers, curated musical experiences, and a play- and fun-based structured environment. The classes offer a chance for kids to drum, sing, dance and be introduced to rhythm instruments and begin to play music-based games.
