Credit: The Henry Buckner School
The Henry Buckner School, founded in 1974, provides infant and toddler care and preschool programs for children aged 3 months through 5 years. Programs are designed based on the Sing, Spell, Read and Write Curriculum.
After school and summer enrichment programs are also offered. Back up and drop in care may be available, space permitting.
Mission
The Henry Buckner School helps children become well-rounded, healthy, happy, and successful members of the community by providing a nurturing, secure, and positive learning environment. This is fostered by a cooperative effort between school, parents, and community. The school encourages high expectations through age-appropriate instruction that allows for individual differences in learning styles.
Schedule
The School’s calendar is aligned with the Cambridge Public School district. School will be closed on certain days for professional development staff training and facility improvement.
