The Chestnut Hill School is an independent, coeducational elementary school for children aged 3 through grade 6. The school provides a child-centered learning environment and the curriculum encourages the inherent curiosity of children, inspiring critical thinking, problem solving, and a love of learning.
The Beginners and Pre-K programs include opportunities for learning readiness skills, exploration, socialization, and play. Daily programs include a balance of both structured and unstructured time.
The admissions process begins one year prior to enrollment. Children who turn 3 prior to September 1 will enter the Beginners program. Parents would need to call the admissions office one year prior to their enrollment date to receive an information packet and schedule parent visits as part of the application process.
Schedule and Extended Hours
The Beginners and Pre-K programs are half-day with an option to stay for the full day. Early drop-off at 7:00am or 7:30am and extended afternoon hours until 6:00pm are available. An additional fee may apply.
