Katherine G.I 100% agree this is a beautiful school and a lovely place to send our children. I loved the Teddy Bear Club. I did not love their schedule. The owner told us they follow the Newton Public School calendar. True, while TBC is in session, they follow the same holidays and snow days. But, it starts a week or two later in Sept and ends a week or two earlier in June. That’s nearly a month of school off vs that public school calendar they supposedly follow. They also close for teacher professional days and parent-teacher conferences. So coordinate your entire work schedule, book a babysitter (parents only!) to go in and talk about the coloring book for 15-20 minutes. I’m sure that’s fine for parents who have backup nannies, au pairs or stay at home moms, but for us, two working professional parents, it was annoying.
