Hands-On Montessori School, founded in 2003, inspires and nurtures the development of children from the age of 18 months through 12 years. Students develop independence, self-confidence, self respect, and creativity. The school enables each child to reach their full potential as a global citizen and life-long learner.
A comprehensive curriculum is offered through half-day or full-day programs. Mixed-age classes foster a non-competitive environment and peer teaching and learning. Students explore math, language, art, music, geography, cultural studies, botany, zoology and other sciences. No subject is taught in isolation. Children learn through outdoor play, developing care and respect for ones’ self and the environment.
