Credit: Emagination Tech Camps
Emagination, a family-owned company, strives to educate, entertain and help develop healthy kids and teens. Their Summer Tech Camp delivers technology education opportunities for children aged 8-17, combined with an awesome summer camp experience. Kids can select from more than 20 digital art & media, coding, engineering, or game design courses. During two-week sessions (including the weekend), campers will select three tech courses and one recreational activity.
The programs are designed to enable children to advance their technology knowledge and skills. Campers will learn independence, make friends, and develop self-confidence.
Courses
There is a wide course offering. Sample courses include:
- Coding: AI and machine learning, coding basics with python, scratch
- Digital Art & Media: 3D animation shorts, augmented reality, Photoshop, web design, virtual reality
- Engineering: circuits and sabers, explorations in engineering, radio controlled cars, robotics
- Video Game Design: action game design, game design elements, level design, Minecraft world design
Lunch
Lunch is included in tuition for all campers. Breakfast and/or dinner is also included, depending on camper registration for extended day or full day. Overnight tuition includes all meals as well as lodging and the weekend.
Transportation
Pick up and drop off transportation is provided to/from Boston Logan airport or from the AMTRAK stop at South Station in Boston. An additional fee applies. The program will also assist day camper families in organizing car pools.
