Detailed Information

Newton Theatre Kids offers students in grades 5-8 at all levels with opportunities to develop and hone their theatrical skills. The three one-week intensive programs each focus on a different genre of theater, such as cabaret, auditioning, or Shakespeare. Participants develop meaningful skills while increasing confidence and versatility as performers and meeting new friends with similar interests.

Experienced staff provides a nurturing environment to allow kids to feel comfortable and confident while acting, singing, and dancing. Families are invited to attend a fully staged and costumed performance at the end of each session.

Registration

Register as early as possible as each session headcount is capped and may fill up quickly.

Facilities

All sessions and performances are held at the First Unitarian Universalist Society.
