ISO: Auto mechanic?

I'm very unsavvy when it comes to the car in general and particularly any needed repairs. I check Google to get a sense of whether estimates are reasonable if possible, but always feel more comfortable starting with a recommendation. Can anyone recommend their auto shop - a place for annual service and also other repairs (like, there's a squeaky noise when the car slows/brakes, things like that).

Tips for birthday party planning?

We will be planning a birthday party for our daughter (4). Any tips/recommendations - Did you invite the whole preschool class, siblings? Do people prefer morning or afternoon parties? What about food - seems there are a lot of allergies out there these days, any recommendations for food everyone can eat? Do parents stay/eat at these parties?

We're new to the area so any venue recommendations would be great, thanks!

Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre serves children and adults of all levels, from the beginner to the professional. The school offers customized, personal instruction and mentoring, innovative training methods, and dedicated and experienced faculty. The Young Dancers Program is a year long training program for children and kids aged 3-18.

YouthWorks is a pre-professional dance program that hand selects dancers for audition opportunities and enrolls students in the program's highest levels. Drop-in classes are available for adults year round. Additionally, the school offers introductory ballet classes for teens and adults as well as summer programs.

Ski Lessons

Ski Bradford is an excellent family ski area that offers some of the best learn-to-ski programs for kids near Boston. Lessons are taught by skilled and patient instructors. The mountain has 9 lifts, 3 triple chairs, a terrain park, a novice carpet conveyor, night skiing, and 100% snow making. One hour private or group lessons are available for ages 4+ (snowboarders age 6+) at all levels. Register in advance online or at the information desk. Sign up must be completed at least 20 minutes prior to the start of the lesson. Walk-in lessons may only be available during nights and weekends. Private and group classes are available 7 days a week, holidays, and during school vacations. Visit the Ski Bradford website for up to date information on when lessons are taught.

Various programs, including half-day weekend ski or snowboard, weekday ski, night ski or snowboard, and 45-minute classes for beginners aged 4-5, are offered on the mountain. Clinics are also offered during school vacations in December and February for both skiers and snow boarders. Lessons are offered for all experience levels, including for students with no experience and are new to snow sports to experienced skiers and boarders comfortable on steeps, moguls and powder.
