Detailed Information

The Summer Academy offers high school students entering grades 9-12 opportunities to produce print and digital work, create in virtual reality, learn Photoshop, InDesign, and SketchUp, and study the work of other design masters, among other educational development opportunities. Participants are aspiring artists, architects, interior designers, engineers, industrial designers, computer game creators, landscape designers, and more.

No prior design experience is necessary to participate in the summer academy. Students are accepted through a rolling admission process on a first-come, first-served basis.

College Credit

Students in grades 11 and 12 who complete the program earn 1.5 college credits and are eligible for scholarship awards to one of the undergraduate programs at Boston Architectural College.

Scholarships

Scholarships for the summer program may be available based on financial need and gifts made to the school. Check the BAC website for application process and deadlines.

Other Information

  • International students must secure their own visa, as needed.
  • Art materials and transportation to field trips is included in tuition.
